Remineralizing Tooth Powder
Remineralizing Tooth Powder
Goodbye toothpaste. Hello Tooth Powder. We’ve partnered with Dr. Michelle Jorgensen to create a new sensitive version of our popular remineralizing tooth powder that can help strengthen your teeth while helping with sensitivity! Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring mineral that makes up our bones and teeth. It makes up over 90% of the foundation of your tooth’s enamel. This tooth powder is packed full of specially chosen ingredients like:
- Hydroxyapatite, the mineral that makes up enamel used to remineralize your teeth and reduce sensitivity
- Arginine Bicarbonate, an amino acid from plants that has been found to have oral health benefits, including reducing sensitivity in teeth.
- Essential oils to help battle gum disease and add a minty taste for fresh breath
- Xylitol to kill the bad bacteria in the mouth, but leave the good bacteria alone
Safe for children over 2 years old who spit out their toothpaste. A 2 oz jar lasts about 2 months with twice-daily usage from one person.
Who Should Use the Sensitive Tooth Powder?
Those with extra sensitive teeth! Our Remineralizing and Whitening Tooth Powders are both great options for those with sensitive teeth and gums. With arginine bicarbonate as its main ingredient, however, Sensitive Tooth Powder offers an extra layer of technology to seal dentinal tubules, reducing teeth sensitivity with the added benefit of remineralizing.

FAQs
Does this tooth powder replace my toothpaste?
Yes! It is meant to be used in place of a traditional toothpaste.
Is a tooth powder better than a toothpaste?
It all depends on the ingredients. Tooth paste is commonly made using glycerin which helps turn the paste into a paste. However, studies are showing that toothpastes that contain hydroxyapatite may not be as effective when glycerin is an ingredient. This is because the glycerin can coat the teeth and physically block them from absorbing as much hydroxyapatite for remineralization.
We chose to create a tooth powder with hydroxyapatite to help the teeth absorb as much as possible for maximized remineralization benefits.
Is the tooth powder safe for children and can it be swallowed?
Yes, our tooth powders are safe for children! We recommend either the Kids Tooth Powder (citrus) or the Remineralizing Tooth Powder (mint). Both versions are safe for kids and can be swallowed, we just know that littles don’t always love minty toothpaste so we made a citrus version for them.
If your child is over two years of age and able to spit out their regular toothpaste, then the Whitening Remineralizing Tooth Powder (mint) is safe for them to use.
How long will one jar of tooth powder last?
A jar of tooth powder can last a single person 2 months with twice-daily brushing.
Does each person in my family need their own jar of tooth powder?
That’s up to you! It’s very similar to sharing a tube of toothpaste as your wet toothbrush picks up what it touches. But if you prefer not to share, get each person their own jar!
Alternatively, you can use a UV toothbrush sanitizer before dipping your toothbrush in the jar to reduce the spread of bacteria.
Can the tooth powder help with receding gums?
The tooth powder can help with gum health, but receding gums generally require a skin graft.
